Forehearth Services Appoints Agent in Thailand
Forehearth Services are delighted to announce the appointment of GMG Glass Consulting. The company, owned by Gary Gammon, is based near Bangkok and is well established within the Thai glass community.
Multiple contracts in Turkey
During 2014 and 2015 Forehearth Services were pleased to conduct both forehearth training courses and multiple forehearth audits at Sisecam plants in Eskisehir, Mersin and Yenisheir.
Forehearth Services win Multiple Contracts in Thailand
Throughout 2015 and 2016, Forehearth Services secured contracts at Bangkok Glass, Siam Glass and Ocean Glass. These contracts involved training and multiple audits and general forehearth troubleshooting.

Forehearth Services return to Mexico
Having providing training courses and multiple forehearth audits to several Vitro plants, Forehearth Services were delighted to return to Mexico in 2017 to provide training and multiple forehearth audits for FEVISA in Mexicali.

Forehearth Services Chosen as Expert Witness
Forehearth Services have been contracted to act as expert witness in a dispute between a supplier and a glass plant.
Bennu Glass
Forehearth Services congratulates Bennu Glass on the successful start-up of the refurbished glass container plant in Kalama, USA. Bennu Glass is now in full production manufacturing high quality wine bottles using a new Sorg Oxyfuel furnace and the re-furbished 340 forehearths.
Forehearth Services were contracted to provide forehearth training and commissioning services and are proud to be associated with this exciting new venture. We wish Bennu every success for the future.
Barcelona
Forehearth Services would like to thank all those who visited our stand at the Glassman exhibition in Barcelona. The exhibition was used for the formal launch of the Forehearth Services forehearth design and specification service under which Forehearth Services provides full specifications, layout and manufacturing drawings to allow glass producers to source the material directly from their supplier of choice – resulting in vast cost savings.
The competition for a free forehearth performance audit was won by Carib Glass.
Forehearth Services Provides Forehearth Design
for Major Italian Glass Producer
Forehearth services provided full specifications, design requirements and drawings to allow the installation of a distributor and 5 forehearths in a major glass producer in northern Italy. The system was successfully commissioned by Forehearth Services engineering in early 2012.
Forehearth Services Training
The latest version of the Forehearth Services training manual, Revision 3 was released in early 2012. All companies that have previously commissioned training programs from Forehearth Services are entitled to receive a free up-date. Vitro Mexico Chooses Forehearth Services
Forehearth Services has recently provided both forehearth performance audits and training to Vitro in Mexico. All training attendees achieved high scores in the post training test papers. Congratulations to all involved.
Kandil Glass Selects Forehearth Services as Forehearth Consultant
Kandil Glass has commissioned Forehearth Services as consultants for their phase 2 expansion project at 10th Ramadan City near Cairo, Egypt. Forehearth Services have been responsible for the forehearth design and specification.
This follows earlier forehearth performance assessments conducted on the nearby phase 1 plant. Forehearth Services looks forward to the successful commissioning of phase 2 plant.
Forehearth Services in California Again
Following the provision of forehearth audits and training services for a major glass container plant in California in 2011, Forehearth Services were delighted to return to provide further training and forehearth performance audits in 2012. This reflects the current trend whereby approximately 80% of training and audit contracts result in further contracts within the same company or group.
Forehearth Services in Kuwait
2012 saw several visits to Kuwait by Forehearth Services. Gulf Glass commissioned Forehearth Services for training and forehearth performance audits. We were delighted to be of service to our friends in Kuwait.
Forehearth Services Stays at Home
Thanks to UK’s Allied Glass and Beatson Clark Forehearth services were able to spend some time in the UK. These two premier UK glass manufacturers both commissioned Forehearth Services to perform forehearth performance audits during 2012.
